Not sure prices are very low
I have eaten here before with no problems. However, today was a different story. Our waitress was not friendly or pleasant at all. She made us feel like it was a burden for her to wait on us. My sister asked for fresh coffee because she said hers didn't taste good. We heard another employee say she just made it and it was fresh. Our waitress and the other employee were whispering about us. Then my sister found a hair in the meat in her patty melt. The waitress took it away but acted like it really put her out. She said "what would you like me to do?". Again, she was whispering with the other employee. My sister chose not to order another meal. We felt like we were not welcome and that we were a burden. I don't think I will be back.
Had 2 appointments in the morning and afterwards, decided to try out this quaint place for brunch. The short stack (3) potato pancakes w sour cream and applesauce were superb! My stomach is happy, my wallet is happy (reasonably priced), and I'm happy for finding another place to frequent!
They are officially reopened! Hours now are 9am to 7pm. Full menu, soups, and specials!!
Great food and great service.
Food was excellent and reasonably priced, sevice was very polite and nice I would recommend anyone to go there.
The minched ham egg scrambled for breakfast is my choice. For a fair price. The service is fast and friendly. I will be coming back.
Nice family restaurant good food reasonably priced and good service. I tried baked cod and my wife had pierogies. Both were good. Worth visiting.
Good service Good Food
Great food, prices and staff. Very clean and neat. A small place that suits a family meal.
Maybe I'll go back some day and give them another chance but I don't know. I tried one of the specials of the day when I visited. Cabbage and noodles plate. It was served with a choice of 2 soups and a side of applesauce. I ordered the chicken noodle, not what I'd normally pick, but it was very good. Tasted like home made and not bought in which is always better imo. Applesauce was cold from a jar but eh, not unexpected. The cabbage and noodle was exactly what's in the name with a little bit of onion and butter. Oh and butter. Did I say butter? Yeah lots of it. I really missed bacon or ham or something. But it was ok. After I added too much salt and some pepper. Great service, clean place, good coffee. I bet breakfast is fantastic.
Great place for breakfast food....all day long.
Came in here to try out the breakfast. I must say the portions are a very good size! My husband got the hash (came with eggs, breakfast potatoes and toast). That was a huge plate of food! I on the other hand just had the French toast with a fruit topping. Not to shabby for a small place. The food came out fast and the service was friendly! Don’t quote me but so believe that the whole menu is available for breakfast. I saw some guests eating some delicious sandwiches. Will I be back, sure! Why not and maybe even for dinner. There’s weekly specials that look amazing!
Good food and lots of it. Very busy but we were seated quickly and our waiter came right over.
Really good food, service was awesome too. Eggs cooked perfectly over medium. Bacon extra crispy. Hubby's food was tasty too.Nice family owned restaurant.
Nice, comfortable, laid back, relaxing place to enjoy a good meal at a good price. The beef and barley soup was an excellent addition to my fried balogna sandwich. Get the full bowl of soup! It is a big bowl, more than twice the size of the cup of soup. Service was great. Only problem is that the honey fried chicken was not as good as my wife expected (she won't be getting that entree again...)
Debbie and I have gone to this place often over the years. Great food. Staff is always friendly. We have had breakfast there quite a few times. Very homey relaxed kind of restaurant. You'll like it.
Service was good. The lasagna was somemof the best I've had. Prices were very reasonable also.
Good food and friendly service at a reasonable price, doesn't get much better than that in 'historic' Olmsted Falls. One of those places where it feels like the owners are on a first name basis with every customer. Get there early as it gets busy, especially on weekends.
Average food great staff
Had breakfast good fast and hot ! Fair price..
Wonderful breakfast spot. Extremely family friendly. Prompt and attentive service. The staff is welcoming and fun! Delicious omelets and pancakes!
Great restaurant. Great menu. Great price. Beautiful area.
They always have good food, and are fast!
Excellent food and service. I recommend the walleye dinner.
The Fish and Chips are close to perfect. Service has always been great . I've been coming up here once a month for about a year.
Fast and friendly service. Very reasonably priced.
Decent family restaurant, mostly pancakes and waffles. A couple choices for one or two egg meals and a few omelettes. Definitely satisfying.
I love this place. I stop here every time I'm in town (I live 3 hours away.) The wait staff is great, never an empty cup of coffee. The food is great, everything is great. Love the diner feel. Bathrooms are small but always clean.
I found the food to be bland. Everything I had tasted like what you would get in a hospital cafeteria. Bummer because it's in a cute area. I agree with another reviewer who said they'd do better to trim down their menu and cook from scratch. Better to make a few things well, than offer many mediocre (at best). I won't be returning...
One of the best old time diners I've been to in Ohio.
Great restaurant in the Falls railroad district area. The restaurant is bigger than it appears from the outside and you must walk around another storefront toward the road (from the parking lot) to find it. Breakfast is served all day and the food is delicious! Waitstaff went above and beyond to help us out. We loved it!
Wasnt happy with any of visits. Wont return. Messed up my order and when i pointed out for correction waitress had an attitude. But she never wrote down my request of super crispy hash browns as i watched her and she just walked away. When theres a special request for kitchen, write it down. Never got refills on coffee either. Eggs overcooked every tine. Poor quality food and service.
I've been going here for years... this was my great grandpa's favorite restaurant, he always loved the food... Staff is very friendly, food is amazing... the one in the picture I took was really good... Good for all times of day.
Good food. Friendly people. They are doing a good job with Covid-19 prep.
Disappointed, last 2 visits service was exceptionally slow, waitress seemed overwhelmed, had fishbowl salad ,was good first visit, this time wilted lettuce and thin tomato slice cut in 4 tiny pieces, wife ordered tuna melt that was not a melt after very long wait she was givin tuna on toast with cheese slices not grilled in pan with butter like a real melt and toast wasnt even buttered ,these are trying times for all of us but this was not a hard order to make.
This restaurant has a great menu for breakfast lunch or dinner with decent prices
Just plain good regular food very reasonably priced.
Great food and great prices! Kind of a small restaurant though, so probably not good for really big groups
Didn't go there today, but previous visits have been great... good food, great service, family atmosphere
Definitely a family ran establishment. Food was good. Don't look for chef inspired specialties here just the good ole classics. Seating can get to be a bit tight. Not the place to take a big party of people. We took a bigger group but we were fine with splitting tables.
They have the best chicken, tuna, egg, and potato salad plate
I had the tuna salad on a croissant. It was a generous serving of salad and very tasty. The bread was fresh. Others in our group had various sandwiches. All agreed that the food was excellent. The service was outstanding as well.
Local popular restaurant, good service, attentive staff.
Called them on Labor Day around 1:25 to make sure that they were open they told me till 2 showed up 10 minutes later and they tell me that they are closed very disappointed! Why not just tell me your closed? they do have good biscuits and gravy though!
What a treat in the middle of the historic center of Olmsted Falls! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Our group had a wide variety from the menu, all of it very good. The walleye was fried to perfection. The chef's salad was fresh and included an ample amount of meat and cheese. The fried bologna sandwich (a childhood favorite) included a very thick slice of quality bologna covered with grilled onions. The fried chicken was also well seasoned and fried perfectly. This is just a wonderful place for some down-home family cooking!
Today was our first and last time to this place. The server admittedly tells me only some of their stuff is homemade and the rest comes off the Sysco truck. That being said, I thought I would try the fried chicken hoping it was fresh. This was a mistake. It was fried in old grease and almost burned on the outside yet still ice cold in the middle. I hate to admit that I had to immediately spit it out. This would have only been a 1-star review but our server was nice.
Good prices, decent food but very tight fit between tables making it difficult to get around.
Another favorite with good, simple food and a nice home town atmosphere!
Great breakfast, great flavor and always hot. Staff is very kind. Both dining in and getting to go has been superb.
The seating was very comfortable. We had breakfast the portions where generous. Their was 3 of us we all had a omelet verity breakfast with coffee. Price came to $28.60 yes for 3 people. Normaly to take 3 people to breakfast is $35 dollars. I can wait to go back an try lunch.
